Today,25thNovember, is White Ribbon day, The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Girls. On a another Mudcat thread called Any November Songs, I have a posted SONGS FOR WHITE RIBBON DAY and MORE SONGS FOR WHITE RIBBON DAY which together list 36 titles.( a mixture of traditional and modern songs) There must be many additional appropriate traditional songs? While White Ribbon Day is current, I am opening the topic with this new thread displayed to everyone on the General Discussion Forum. I hope this will produce more suggestions which can be added directly to the Any November Songs? thread or leave for me to transfer.
